In the Chernihiv region, Avtostrada is completing works on four sections of the H-07 Kyiv-Sumy-Yunakivka highway with a total length of about 27 km. They run from the city of Pryluky to the border of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

Importantly, the company considered the needs of the people with visual impairments during the construction of the accompanying infrastructure: tactile tiles were laid on the sidewalks, which allow to move comfortably and safely. Also during the overhaul, the Avtostrada specialists applied new technologies of road construction. Thus, the Impactor 3000H concrete crusher was used for the reconstruction of individual segments. It is a mechanism that breaks the old concrete pavement and turns it into a full-fledged basis for the future asphalt pavement. This technology allows efficient use of available resources and speeds up work.

During the restoration of our sections, the road was widened from seven to eight meters, a new foundation and two layers of asphalt concrete were laid. From now on there is a modern and comfortable road surface. Also, Avtostrada performed the following works:

• about 30 congresses were asphalted;
• drainage system was arranged;
• sidewalks with a total length of more than 9 km were arranged;
• new bus stops were installed;
• security islands were arranged;
• new barrier fence and road signs were arranged.

Currently, the arrangement of roadsides, sowing of grass and installation of lighting is underway. During the repair, almost 200,000 tons of gravel-sand and organo-mineral mixtures and about 100,000 tons of asphalt concrete mixtures of various types were laid. About 200 employees of Avtostrada and more than 150 units of equipment were involved in the works on the sites.

This year, in the Chernihiv region, Avtostrada restored 75 kilometers of the R-67 highway.
