QUALITY ASSURANCE
Autostrada places the highest priority on construction quality. Quality assurance is overseen by technical supervision engineers with professional experience at leading international companies.
The company has also established a comprehensive laboratory network with capabilities unique in Ukraine. This enables a systematic approach to improving the performance, reliability, and long-term durability of road pavements and bridge structures.
The laboratory network includes:
-On-site laboratories — deployed directly at construction sites to perform the full range of essential tests required throughout the construction process.
-Central Laboratory — focused on implementing advanced international testing methodologies and evaluating the fundamental properties and long-term performance of materials used in road and bridge construction under real operating conditions.
-Mobile laboratories — used to monitor road construction works and conduct continuous comprehensive diagnostics of road infrastructure.
Autostrada’s unique Central Laboratory and certified laboratories at its production facilities are equipped with advanced testing equipment from leading manufacturers, including Matest, Testing AG, HMP, Silverson, ULAB, and RadialTec.
Autostrada operates specialised certified laboratories in accordance with DSTU ISO 10012:2005, enabling continuous monitoring and quality control of raw materials.
INCOMING QUALITY CONTROL OF MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS
Through the use of advanced testing equipment, verified raw materials, and continuous monitoring of finished products, we ensure compliance with specified requirements for strength, abrasion resistance, water absorption, frost resistance, and sound absorption.
ASPHALT MIX PRODUCTION CONTROL
The quality of asphalt concrete mixes is tested at least twice a day — or every 600 tonnes of production — in accordance with DSTU B V.2.7-319:2016.
Testing verifies compliance with DSTU B V.2.7-119:2011, Asphalt Concrete Mixes and Asphalt Concrete for Roads and Airfields, and DSTU B V.2.7-127:2015, covering stone mastic asphalt mixes and stone mastic asphalt.
ASPHALT PAVING AND COMPACTION QUALITY CONTROL
Asphalt concrete mixes and the quality of the completed pavement are monitored through core sampling in accordance with the procedures established by DBN V.2.3-4.
Test results for each sample are documented in formal laboratory reports and submitted to the regional Infrastructure Restoration and Development Services. In parallel, these authorities conduct independent assessments of the completed road pavement.
Autostrada maintains comprehensive in-house quality control throughout the entire construction cycle — from asphalt mix production to final project handover.

Control of asphalt concrete mixture production
The quality of asphalt concrete mixtures is checked at least twice a day for every 600 tons. in accordance with DSTU B V.2.7-319:2016 for compliance with the requirements of DSTU B V.2.7-119:2011 “Asphalt concrete mixtures and asphalt concrete for roads and airfields” and DSTU BV.2.7-127:2015 “Asphalt concrete mixtures and asphalt concrete crushed stone-mastic.”
Quality control of asphalt concrete laying and compaction
The laying and compaction of asphalt concrete mix and the quality of asphalt concrete in the pavement are controlled by sampling cores in accordance with the procedure provided for in DBN V.2.3-4. Conclusions on each sample are recorded in protocols, which are submitted to the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Services in the regions. The services conduct an independent examination of the road surface in parallel.
