Autostrada will resume the large-scale construction of the border bridge across the Dniester, which will connect Ukraine with Moldova

The construction agreement was signed today by the governments of both countries. Our team will build a new bridge on the outskirts of the city of Yampil from the Ukrainian side and near the village of Koseut - from the side of Moldova. We started work here back in 2021, but due to the full-scale war, construction was suspended.
The bridge crossing over the Dniester River on the Ukrainian-Moldovan state border is of great importance both for the border region and for the whole of Ukraine. The project will allow:
- create a transport corridor that will significantly reduce travel time to the countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe;
-significantly relieve the traffic of the "Mohyliv-Podilskyi-Otach" crossing point, through which all cars between Ukraine and Moldova pass today;
-significantly improve logistics between both countries.
The new bridge will be a continuation of the R-08 "Nemyriv-Yampil" route. It will be possible to get to it from the Ukrainian side by highways M-21 "Vystupovychy-Zhytomyr-Mohyliv-Podilskyi" and T-02-02 "Mohyliv-Podilskyi-Yampil-Bershad-Uman". Autostrada also restored these roads a few years ago. On the Moldovan side, the overpass will be connected to the M2 highway "Kyshiniv-Soroka".
In the coming days, the Autostrada team will begin a full-scale complex of preparatory and construction work at the facility. We plan to use more than 500 workers and more than 200 units of special equipment for the construction of the border crossing.
