In particular, we are launching the next construction sites that were preserved by the previous contractor.
Construction of a 42-meter dismantling shaft near the Syrets station (it is from here that the tunnel-passage complex will be removed to the surface after it builds a deep tunnel between the Syrets and Mostytska stations): we are completing the drilling of the shaft casing piles. After that, we will begin the development of the soil and the arrangement of the reinforced concrete structure of the belts, the installation of the staircase elements, the laying of electrical cables for lighting, the installation of pipes for the ventilation pond, drainage, water supply, and compressed air. We remind you that before the start of the work, temporary metal structures for the reinforcement frames of the existing tunnels were installed.
A site with two-level tunnels between the stations “Mostytska” - “Prospekt Pravdy”, which are being constructed using an open-pit method: the tray slab and the abutments have been concreted, a frame has been erected for concreting the walls of the second tier of the tunnel. In parallel, the development of the excavation and installation of the fastening system for the further construction of two-level tunnels (where metro trains will run one above the other) is underway.
Behind the future “Prospekt Pravdy” station, there are planned to be reversible dead ends (for the turnover and night-time stagnation of trains) with an inspection ditch and a service platform. The structures will be constructed in an open pit. Currently, the development of the excavation and installation of the firing belts are underway here. In parallel, we continue to carry out work on strengthening waterlogged soils using jet grouting technology. Soil cementation is an effective solution for strengthening the foundation and improving the characteristics of the soil within the development.
