The construction of the subway in Kyiv's Vynogradar housing estate is being carried out 24/7 and simultaneously in several precincts
In particular, the works are:
- from the construction of the mine shaft above the "Syrets" - "Mostytska" deep-laying tunnel;
- on the site with two-level tunnels "Mostytska" - "Prospekt Pravda";
- on the reversible dead end ("Prospekt Pravda").
Construction of a 42-meter mine shaft above a deep-laying tunnel between St. "Syrets" and "Mostytska": since the place where the shaft is erected is located at the intersection of zones of increased groundwater filtration, the structure of the frame of the shaft is made in the form of a closed circuit of burosic piles. This will create a concrete wall that will hold back the soil and prevent water from entering. Drilling is carried out with a Bauer BG drilling rig. We remind you that the mine shaft is erected above the end point of the tunneling shield. Through the mine shaft, the shield will be raised to the surface after penetration.
During the construction of a two-tier monolithic tunnel between St. "Mostytska" and "Prospekt Pravda", where the metro trains will move above each other, the reinforcement and concreting of the tray slab - the so-called "floor" of the tunnel - is in progress. In parallel, the development of the pit for the continuation of the construction of the distillation tunnel is underway.
Work has begun on the site of the construction of a turning dead end — part of the terminal station ("Prospekt Pravda"), which is intended for the turning and night stand of metro trains. To stabilize the soils, which are especially waterlogged in this place, we use the Jet grouting technology. How it happens: With the help of a drilling rig, cement is injected into the soil under high pressure, mixes with the soil and forms a solid foundation for further construction.
