"Autostrada" provided traffic on the main road connecting Chernihiv with Kyiv and the communities of the region on the right bank of the Desna River. This was reported by the press service of the "Avtostrada" Group of Companies.

In March 2023, two metal modular bridges on the route P-69 "Vyshhorod — Desna — Chernihiv" were opened for traffic. Unibridge® bridges are manufactured by the French company "Matière" and handed over as part of the French humanitarian mission "Ship for Ukraine".

The length of the carriageways of the French bridges is 34 m and 23 m. Both bridges have two lanes for traffic. Constructions already have a ready-made road surface. They are designed for traffic flows of any density and can be used continuously. Bridges can also be used for cargo, which is especially important for this route. The bridges were made according to the exact parameters of the structures blown up during the attack on the Chernihiv region.

The workers of "Autostrada" assembled the bridges in just a few months and installed them in the place of the destroyed bridges. The beams of the Unibridge® bridges were assembled using tension screws, the "Autostrada" specialists made connections between the beams, laid orthotropic slabs, installed guardrails and barriers, poured and asphalted access roads, installed road signs.

Unibridge® - non-standard bridges, such structures were installed for the first time in Ukraine. Traffic on the bridges was opened after carrying out load tests. NVF "Mostoproekt" checked the quality of screw connections and painting; measured the deformation of the bridges under different loads (for this, MAN dump trucks were driven onto the bridges).

We will remind you that after the retreat of the enemy in the spring of 2022, the R-69 road is almost the only way to connect with Chernihiv. The "Avtostrada" group of companies started working in Chernihiv Oblast back in April 2022, immediately after the liberation of the region, when temporary roads were set up on the route P-69 Vyshhorod — Desna — Chernihiv. As a result of hostilities in Chernihiv Oblast, 27 road bridges were damaged or destroyed.
