The new exit from the Podilsko-Voskresensky Bridge to Troyeshchyna is ready for traffic!

Autostrada has completed the construction of a separate exit from the Podilsko-Voskresensky bridge crossing to Troyeshchyna, leading to Petro Vershyhory Street and running parallel to the road we built last year.
This route runs through an already completed tunnel under the railway, originally designed for a tram line. Now the Podilsky Bridge and Troyeshchyna are connected by two independent roads, each with two lanes in each direction.
This solution significantly relieves traffic in the capital and makes trips more comfortable, as drivers no longer have to cross the tram tracks.
The complex of works included:
• an embankment was constructed from the last support of the bridge to Tsentralna Sadova Street and a new road was built under the turning circle of the high-speed tram. The width of the carriageway is 9 m: two lanes plus a cycle path;
• Retaining walls, noise barriers, sidewalks, barrier fences, drainage system, lighting, public transport stops, road signs were installed;
• Concrete reinforcement was made on water pipes passing in the area of the highway;
• A ramp was built at the "Raiduzhnyi" station for the comfort of people with reduced mobility.
Over 500 Autostrada specialists from the bridge construction, road, drilling and crane and facing divisions worked at the site around the clock. Thanks to the coordinated work of the team, the construction was completed in the shortest possible time while adhering to the highest quality standards.
