Autostrada is building a new alternative route between Ukraine and Moldova

On the border of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, the construction of a temporary technological bridge across the Dniester River to the future international checkpoint "Yampil - Koseuts" is underway.
We plan to complete the construction work by the end of this year.
The temporary bridge will provide an alternative transport connection between Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova and open a shorter route between Vinnytsia and the Moldovan city of Soroca. Thanks to this, the distance will be reduced by almost 30 kilometers, which will make the transportation of goods and passengers faster and more efficient.
At the same time, the temporary bridge will become a technological and logistical basis for the resumption of construction of the main international bridge crossing over the Dniester, 1,309 meters long. Autostrada began the implementation of this large-scale infrastructure project back in 2021, but after the start of a full-scale war, work was suspended.
The length of the temporary bridge is 276 meters. The structure includes 24 metal supports-posts immersed in the ground, metal beams and reinforced concrete slab floors.
As of today, 96 meters of the bridge have already been built. The work is gradually reaching the middle of the Dniester riverbed - the state border. Starting with the 12th support, construction will continue on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
Autostrada road crews are building an access road to the new bridge crossing from the Ukrainian side.
