The pipeline network is now fully installed. The construction readiness of pumping and filtering stations with a capacity of 3,000 and 2,000 m³/day and two clean water tanks with a total volume of 1,600 m³ and 1,100 m³ is over 80%.
We are starting to install the equipment necessary for the purification and supply of drinking water.
The new water supply pipelines will provide a full water supply cycle - from water intake from the main water pipeline "Zaporizhzhia - Tomakivka - Marhanets", which Autostrada built in 2024, and its transportation to purification and uninterrupted supply to consumers. Thanks to this, residents of Tomakivska and Myrivska communities, for whom the issue of stable water supply still remains crucial, will have reliable access to high-quality drinking water.
How will the new water supply system work?
- First, the water will undergo primary treatment: pH adjustment, dosing of sodium permanganate to oxidize manganese and purification from large mechanical impurities using disc filters;
- Next is the main stage of purification. Pumping stations will supply water to membrane ultrafiltration units. A coagulant will be added to the water beforehand, which will bind small particles of contaminants for more effective removal. In ultrafiltration units, metals, bacteria and viruses will be removed from the water by 99%;
- After ultrafiltration, the water will pass through activated carbon filters, which remove organic impurities and improve its quality;
- At the final stage, disinfection will take place, after which the purified water will flow to tanks and further into the community water supply network.
We plan to complete the project implementation and provide residents of the Tomakivska and Myrivska communities with high-quality drinking water this summer.
