The highway has completed the restoration of a strategic section of the highway in the Kharkiv region - from the city of Izyum to the border with the Donetsk region.

This is the front road. Smashed by heavy military equipment. Our team was tasked with repairing it as soon as possible to ensure full-fledged movement of military and humanitarian cargo to Bakhmut, where the heaviest fighting since the beginning of the full-scale war is currently taking place.

Autostrada workers took over this section at the end of September, immediately after the release of Izyum.

First, the track was cleared of burnt equipment and garbage, and after that they began to repair potholes in the road surface with maps.

We had to work practically in a minefield, our road workers say. While retreating, the enemy densely mined the strategic route near Izyum. Sappers carefully checked each hole. And only after that they gave the go-ahead to the Autostrada brigade.
