Autostrada has implemented an energy-efficient approach in the Mykolaiv water pipeline project to ensure sustainability and reduce operational costs.

At the first pumping station, the company is installing a 1.5 MW solar power plant that will provide up to 20% of the electricity needed for the system’s operation. This solution not only enhances the energy independence of the facility but also helps lower the carbon footprint.

The solar power station will prevent the emission of over 1,000 tons of CO₂ annually, equivalent to the absorption capacity of 50,000 trees. The panels are installed at an optimal angle and integrated into a smart system with inverters, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability.

Through this initiative, Autostrada demonstrates how innovative and environmentally conscious engineering can strengthen critical infrastructure even under wartime conditions.
