Podilsko-Voskresenskyi bridge is the capital's largest infrastructure facility.

Currently, bridge builders and Autostrada road workers are performing the following works:

- we arrange insulation of concrete surfaces of roadways and sidewalks;

- we asphalt the road part of the bridge;

- in parallel, we build an earthen embankment for the construction of approaches to the bridge;

- we arrange retaining walls;

- we install a drainage system;

- we install a bridge barrier fence and noise protection screens.

More than 400 workers and more than 100 units of equipment are involved in the construction. Work on the facility Autostrada began in August and it will be completed in early November.

Podilsko-Voskresenskyi bridge crossing consists of two levels (automobile road and metro), it contains three bridges: over the Dnipro, Gavan and Desenka, an overpass on Rybalskyi Peninsula, a left-turn exit to Naberezhno-Rybalska Street, an overpass on Trukhaniv Island, an overpass in the tract Horbachykha, a drive to the bridge crossing from the intersection of Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska and Verkhnii-Nyzhnii Val Streets.

The total length of the bridge is 9 km. The automobile part consists of 3 lanes in each direction.

Podilsko-Voskresenskyi bridge crossing got the title of one of the largest long-term structures.

Finally, the planned first phase of construction is nearing completion.

The launch of Podilsko-Voskresenskyi bridge will connect Rusanivski Sady and Voskresenka with Podil, and a little later - with Raiduzhnyi Area and Troieshchyna, will relieve the load on the Northern Bridge, and will enable the future launch of the metro to Troieshchyna.
