Our road crews service 7,660 km of roads, including more than 6,700 km of state highways and 880 km of local roads in the border region of Chernihiv, where maintaining stable transportation links is a key element of regional security and mobility.

Additionally, our team ensures the operational maintenance of strategic routes in the Kharkiv region, which are critically important for military logistics and the country’s defense capability.

As part of winter preparations, a full range of essential works has been completed: temporary winter road signs have been installed, snow-retaining nets have been mounted, anti-icing materials and fuel have been stocked, and all machinery has been checked and prepared for operation in severe weather conditions.

To ensure efficient response during the winter season, Autostrada has built up strategic reserves:

• 140,000 tons of anti-icing materials;

• nearly 40,000 tons of technical salt;

• 500 tons of cold asphalt concrete for rapid pothole repairs.

All materials undergo quality control in Autostrada’s modern in-house laboratories, ensuring their effectiveness and safety.

A total of 780 workers and 420 units of specialized equipment will be involved in winter operations, including combined road machines, tractors with attachments, loaders, motor graders, and rotary snow blowers.

All machinery is equipped with GPS navigation, enabling efficient resource management, real-time monitoring, and control of work progress.

Each region has a 24/7 dispatch center that coordinates road crews and ensures rapid response to any weather challenges.

The Autostrada team is fully prepared for the first snowfall and ready to maintain stable road operations throughout the entire autumn-winter period.
