Ukrainian cinema today demonstrates to the world the scale of the challenge. It is our voice of truth and a reflection of the genetic code of the nation. During the war, it unites Ukrainians around common values, contributes to the consolidation of society, strengthens the sense of identity and enhances internal resilience.
That is why Autostrada became the official partner of the film “On the Drive”. For us, supporting Ukrainian cinema is an investment in the internal strength of society, its unity, resilience and future.
Yesterday, a pre-premiere screening of the film took place in Kyiv, bringing together the film crew, star guests and partners.
The space of history is today's Kharkiv: a city that lives under the constant pressure of war, but retains dynamics, energy and the ability to move forward. This is a story about young people who, despite the circumstances, do not put life on pause: they look for opportunities, make plans, develop and create a new reality around themselves.
It is this resilience that is the foundation of our work. As an industry leader, Autostrada implements the most complex infrastructure projects: we build metros and water pipelines, restore bridges, and provide strategic logistical connections for the country.
Our team works 24/7 even in the most difficult conditions: we erect protective structures against drones and missiles, we have been providing access to de-occupied territories since the first days of the war, and we carry out work on mined roads, often under fire. In particular, in the Kharkiv region, Autostrada road crews entered the newly liberated Izyum and Balaklia in 2022 immediately after the military in order to restore communication as quickly as possible and return life to communities.
At the same time, we systematically strengthen the army - we help with equipment, resources, and engineering solutions that guarantee the mobility and safety of defenders.
In this fight for the future, every element of our identity is important. That is why Ukrainian cinema today performs a strategic function: it forms common meanings, unites Ukrainians, highlights the problems of the regions, and demonstrates the scale of the challenges facing Ukrainian society.
On April 9, the film “On the Drive” will be released in wide release.
