Autostrada is building protection for Ukraine's energy facilities

Ukraine’s energy sector is currently a primary target for the enemy. Systematic attacks aim to paralyze the critical infrastructure of our cities. As these attacks escalate in scale and technological complexity, protecting infrastructure remains fundamental to the state's resilience.
Autostrada is securing over 20 substations of various voltage classes across the country, including in frontline regions and under conditions of constant enemy attacks. Practical experience confirms the effectiveness of these protective structures; collectively, the facilities have withstood more than 50 enemy strikes. Critical equipment was preserved, ensuring the continuity of electricity supplies to communities.
For each site, we implement engineering solutions developed by specialists at the Autostrada Design Institute. These solutions are continuously updated based on the nature of air attacks, new weaponry, and an analysis of how the protective structures perform in practice. Our engineers collaborate systematically with military personnel and energy sector specialists to enhance protection effectiveness.
An equally important aspect of our team's work involves emergency recovery operations. Once necessary safety protocols are completed, our crews promptly deploy to the sites to remediate damage and restore protective structures.
