Autostrada is building two water pipelines in the Dnipropetrovsk region

In 2024, the Autostrada team completed the construction of the Zaporizhia–Tomakivka–Marganets water main in a record 8 months, which provides water to over a million consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
At the same time, the issue of fully restoring water supply is currently being resolved at the level of local communities and relevant utility companies. This involves coordinating financial and tariff decisions. For residents of the Tomakivka and Myrivka communities, the issue of stable water supply remains relevant.
To resolve this situation, Autostrada is implementing a new stage of work:
-The project provides for the construction of two supply main water mains with a total length of 2,100 meters. They will ensure the transportation of water from the Zaporizhia–Tomakivka–Marganets water main to new pumping and filtering stations, which will stabilize water supply for communities.
- Construction of two pumping and filtering stations with a capacity of 3,000 and 2,000 m³/day.
-At each pumping and filtering station site, it is planned to build two clean water tanks with a total volume of 1600 m³ and 1100 m³ to create the necessary supply of drinking water.
-It is planned to install modern pumping equipment and water treatment equipment that operate in automatic mode, with a minimum number of service personnel.
-Laying a water supply network over 5 km long in the village of Tomakivka with the arrangement of water supply wells with shut-off valves to ensure reliable water supply and the installation of fire hydrants.
These solutions create a complete closed cycle - from the transportation of raw water to the issuance of purified and stable supply to the water supply network of communities. The infrastructure will provide residents of Tomakivska and Myrivska territorial communities of Nikopol district with high-quality drinking water. These are territories that, after the loss of the Kakhovka reservoir, are at risk of water shortage and need a stable and guaranteed source of water supply.
The complex was designed by our own design institute "Avtostrada" - a team of over 150 specialists, which has already proven its ability to implement large-scale projects at the national level. Our specialists designed and supported the construction of a water supply system in the Dnipropetrovsk region in 2024, as well as the Mykolaiv water supply system and wastewater treatment facilities - one of the largest infrastructure projects in the country.
Currently, more than 80% of the pipeline installation work has been completed. We use polyethylene pipes with a diameter of 315, 250, 110 mm, which meet modern requirements for the reliability and durability of engineering networks. Polyethylene pipes are resistant to corrosion and aggressive environments, are not affected by moisture, salts and chemical reagents.
Active construction and installation work is underway at the pumping and filtering stations and clean water tanks. The concreting of the foundation slab and walls of the structures has now been completed. Beams and floor slabs are being installed, and metal structures are being installed. We will soon begin installing engineering equipment.
We plan to complete all work on the project in the summer.
